Lithops aucampiae

Lithops aucampiae is a stemless succulent in the Aizoaceae, the "living stones," built to store water in two swollen leaves and endure long arid dry spells. Give it strong direct light and a gritty, fast-draining mineral mix, and water only sparingly once the soil is fully dry and the leaves feel slightly soft — err toward drought, as sitting wet rots it quickly. Withhold water entirely during dormancy while the old leaf pair shrivels and is replaced.
Lithops karasmontana
Lithops karasmontana is a dwarf, water-storing succulent in the Aizoaceae, the living-stone group adapted to arid, sun-baked ground. It needs bright direct light, a gritty free-draining mineral mix, and very infrequent water: soak only once the soil is bone dry throughout and the plant is firm, then let it fully dry again. It is prone to rot if watered on a schedule, so err toward drought, and reduce or withhold water further during its dormant and leaf-renewal periods.
