Guide
The species-level account. Cultivar pages build on this and say where they differ.
Yucca rupicola is a rosette-forming perennial native to the rocky limestone country of Texas and northeastern Mexico, so it is adapted to bright sun, sharp drainage, and long dry spells. Give it the brightest, sunniest spot you have and a gritty, fast-draining mix. Water deeply but infrequently, letting the soil dry out almost completely before watering again — water only when the mix is dry well below the surface.
