Cultivars of S. pachyphyllum
The named forms growers keep — each with its own page, each honest about how much we know.
No named cultivars catalogued under S. pachyphyllum yet. When growers document a stable, named form, it earns its own page here.
Guide
The species-level account. Cultivar pages build on this and say where they differ.
A succulent subshrub from the arid highlands of central and southwestern Mexico, with plump, water-storing leaves that let it endure long dry spells. Grow it in gritty, fast-draining mix and give it the brightest spot you can, ideally direct sun. Water deeply but infrequently, only once the mix has dried out completely and the leaves begin to look slightly less firm — this plant rots far more easily than it goes thirsty.
