A tropical climbing aroid from the forests of Southeast Asia, where it scrambles up trunks in dappled understory light rather than direct sun. Give it bright indirect light and a well-draining mix, and water only when the top inch or two of mix has dried out, since it rots if left sitting wet. It tolerates ordinary household humidity but does better with a little extra moisture in the air.
