Guide
The species-level account. Cultivar pages build on this and say where they differ.
Saxifraga stolonifera is a low, stoloniferous perennial from the cool, shaded, moist woodlands and rocky slopes of East and South Asia, where it spreads by trailing runners. It wants bright indirect light and an evenly damp but never soggy mix; water when the top inch of soil has dried, easing off in winter. It prefers cooler conditions and resents both drying out completely and sitting wet.
