Pinguicula moranensis is a carnivorous butterwort in the Lentibulariaceae, catching small insects on its sticky leaf surfaces to supplement poor soils. It wants a consistently damp, mineral-poor, low-nutrient medium and high humidity, so water with mineral-free water (rain or distilled) and keep the mix moist but never stagnant, letting only the very surface begin to dry between waterings. Bright indirect light suits it; never fertilize the soil, since standard nutrients can burn the roots.
