Philodendron verrucosum is a climbing aroid from the humid understory of Central and South American cloud forests, where it scrambles up trunks in dappled light. As an epiphytic climber it wants a chunky, fast-draining mix and a support to root into, and it rots if left sitting wet. Water when the top inch of mix has dried, and give it warmth and steady moisture in the air.
