Citrus australasica, the Australian finger lime, is a subtropical understory shrub or small tree from the rainforest margins of eastern Australia. As a citrus it wants strong light and a free-draining mix that approaches dryness between waterings, but never bone-dry at the roots. Water when the top inch or two of mix has dried out, then water thoroughly and let it drain.
