Jasminum nudiflorum is a scrambling deciduous shrub from the temperate mountains of north-central and south-central China and Tibet, accustomed to bright, sunny slopes and cool seasons rather than constant warmth. Give it a bright spot with several hours of direct light, and water when the top inch or two of mix has dried, letting it approach dryness between drinks. It tolerates cool conditions and ordinary household humidity, and grows leggy without support to scramble over.
