Dischidia nummularia is a small trailing epiphyte in the milkweed family, growing on tree bark rather than in soil, so it drains fast and rots if left sitting wet. Mount it or pot it in a very loose, chunky epiphyte mix with plenty of airflow, and water only when the medium and its coin-shaped leaves have gone dry to the touch. It wants warmth, bright indirect light, and consistent humidity — never direct sun.
