Famous for one thing: enormous star-shaped flowers patterned in yellow and maroon like an ornate carpet — among the most spectacular blooms in the succulent world, on sprawling, angular, spiny stems. Long known as Edithcolea grandis; the Bruyns revision folded it into Ceropegia.
