Adromischus cristatus is a small leaf-succulent in the Crassulaceae, storing water in its thick, crinkle-edged leaves and adapted to dry, gritty conditions. Grow it in fast-draining mineral mix and water only when the soil has gone completely dry and the lower leaves begin to feel slightly soft. It prefers strong light but is best given very bright indirect light indoors, and it will rot if kept damp.
